CD- Carlo De Toma Jazzlele - The Uke's Place
Carlo De Toma, a perfect example of how the ukulele can quickly become from accessory to protagonist. He bought it to be more tolerable by the neighbors in the studio of the banjolele, but soon it became the first instrument of Carlo De Toma, an all-round jazz musician, who offers us here a repertoire of songs of the roaring 20s and not only with very interesting personal arrangements, which involving double bass and accordion give a touch of local class but so well integrated as to blend in with the original sound of the time. A band composed of three very talented instrumentalists, absolutely not to be missed!
